Talwar, a computer science and mathematics double major, is exploring how religious sites in her home country of India have changed over time.
The group of computer science and mathematics students, who refer to themselves as “Nerd Club,” took first place in the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges Northeast Region competition for the fourth time since 2019.
Muhlenberg’s Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics challenges students to work across disciplines, apply their knowledge through hands-on projects, and develop the technical and interpersonal skills to thrive in fields that are growing and evolving rapidly.
In “Art After-Life,” Assistant Professor of Film Studies David Romberg employs generative AI technology to allow him to converse with his father, Latin American artist Osvaldo Romberg, posthumously. David has collaborated with Assistant Professor of Computer Science Hamed Yaghoobian as well as students and alumni on the project.
