Talent Scholarships

Prospective students interested in pursuing the visual arts may be considered for a Muhlenberg College Talent Scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $2,000. 

Students do not need to be art majors to be considered, but should be seriously interested in art and have plans to continue their study of art in college.

The Muhlenberg Talent Scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,000 per year on the basis of an audition and/or interview with the staff of the department and references from theatre or dance teachers.

Music Talent Scholarships are available to any prospective student regardless of intended college major/minor. 

To qualify for a Music Talent Scholarship, a prospective student must have a completed application on file with the Office of Admissions and must submit an audition. You may schedule an on-campus audition here or submit a virtual audition here.

Students interested in applying for a Film Talent Scholarship should provide a selection of their best work in order for the department to get a sense of what they are capable of.  Submissions should aim for around 10 minutes of material.  If a student has worked with others on projects, please be sure to specify what your role was, example, editor, director, etc.

If a student is submitting information regarding screenplays, aim for a maximum of about 20 pages. The same principle applies, be selective and show your range wherever possible.

It is best to submit video links from Vimeo or Youtube, but you can also attach files. Screenplays can be sent as file attachments. Please submit your work via this form.
